Our year in review at Kennacoil

Our year in review at Kennacoil

It seems like it was only just yesterday when we first opened our doors to the world. Time has flown by and we have loved every minute of it.

Perthshire us such a wonderful place to call home and we want to thank everyone who played a part in making 2016 so special for us.

Looking back over the past eight months or so, we feel so privileged to have been able to welcome families and couples from all walks of life, from all across the world.

We strive for peace and beauty at Kennacoil and, having read all the reviews, our guests were able to find that magic here too.

Feedback such as this really makes it worthwhile:

‘’Idyllic, perfect holiday cottage in perfect location. This was our first holiday with my severely autistic son in over 10 years. Travelled as a party of 5, myself, partner, son along with 2 carers.

“On arrival, we were struck by how quiet and tranquil it was, with beautiful views of hills & trees. Fantastic! My partner and I arrived a day before my son & the carers to carry out risk assessments but there were none.

“The character inside the cottage is homely, with lovely throws to snuggle with but it is also fresh, comfortable, and immaculate throughout. Rooms are of a good size, they are furnished & equipped to a high standard. All the beds have good quality spring mattresses providing that extra bit of cosiness.

“We stayed Monday - Friday which gave us enough time to find any faults. There were none. The location is close to lots of wonderful walks & tourist beauty spots yet the cottage is secluded on a quiet road that barely sees much traffic.

“Best of all was how peaceful it is. My son barely ever sleeps yet he was in bed after 10pm each night and last to get up each morning. The fact that we are already talking about saving in order to return as soon as we can, says it all.”

Aw guys!

Our Perthshire location plays host to a number of outstanding events throughout the year; such as the Kenmore Highland Games, fishing galas on the river Tay and many more.

As far as 2017 goes, we have further big plans here at Kennacoil. One of which is to showcase our final cottage which will be open for rental. Could this be you?

We’ll be hosting a huge traditional Scottish wedding in June 2017, which we cannot wait for. Bagpipes and kilts at the ready, this day will be a huge occasion. We can’t wait! Planning your wedding in 2017? We’d love to host it in picture-perfect Perthshire at Kennacoil.

Continuing on with our plans for 2017, we will be working with our friends down at Progression Bikes as they look to create an exciting new bike track. Are you an avid outdoors person or cyclist? Stay tuned to our social channels for further information nearer the time in 2017…

We couldn’t have wished for a better opening at Kennacoil. Our staff, the Perthshire community and all our visitors have made it so worthwhile. Thank you.
